A day with Pinã Colada'

Today my day was rather busy, I had to travel and shop for the upcoming festival of Diwali. I prepared a cup of Pinã Colada' Iced Tea from Teapot Twist to accompany me. The tea made me feel relaxed and refreshed for the entire day.

Sipping tea is like a ritual, where I take moment for myself and try to relax my thoughts for the day ahead. And as my day was going to be busier than usual, I am really glad I had this tea before starting the day.

Cold brewed!

Cold brew means steeping tea leaves in normal water for more than 5 hours.

I have always preferred cold-brewing my Green tea blends, as it enhances the inheriant freshness of the tea.

Overnight cold brewing

For today's cup I left my tea overnight to brew in the refrigerator. In the morning I found my golden cup of Pinã Colada'!

• Ingredients: Sencha Green Tea, Coconut, Sugared kiwi, Sunflower petals, dried pineapple.

• Caffeine content: Medium.

• Taste notes: the cup tasted exactly what you would expect from a tea named 'Pinã Colada', It gave me a fresh, tropical vibe. Dry leaves had a strong scent of coconut and pineapple. Taste was milder than the smell.
